Fascinated by the tree at Mankwe hide in the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve on different occasions

This beautiful hide with the ever so popular TREE, a very popular hide for photographers, was burnt to ashes in a veld fire on 3 September 2018

I will still visit my favorite TREE and will still collect memories and will hope to photograph THE TREE from a new hide again in the future ...

November 2019 ... We were back at the beautifully rebuilt hide with our special TREE.  Friends of Pilanesberg who missed this hide as we do, contributed to rebuild this hide so that millions of photographers like myself could visit our TREE to capture special memories.
